This morning we drove Cliff to the Long Beach Airport to catch a flight on Jet Blue. He will be in Chicago on business till Friday.
Savannah had a dentist appt at Uncle Ned’s in Manhattan Beach. He is a Pediatric Dentist. Savannah has four cavities. 2 are very minor but the other 2 we have been watching for a year and it really has grown.
So today she got 2 cavities taken care of. She was a real stinker when Uncle Ned tried giving her the shot to numb her gums. Savannah has a huge fear of needles. She was sore and not a happy camper after the procedure. I reminded her how important it was to brush her teeth and keep her teeth clean.
Uncle Ned said the next appt would be to take care of the other 2 bigger cavities. He said she would need to be sedated to relax her and make it easier for him to work on her.

We rented a bounce house as a surprise for the girls for Easter. Our friends, Eva, who was the night nanny for the triplets, and her daughter and grandson came over. Also, our friend Cyn, who is a foster parent for 4 boys, came over. My brother Ron came over too.
We had a fun Easter Egg Hunt and the kids played in the bouncy house. We had a nice lunch of ham and the fixings.
I totally forgot to put the Easter baskets out. They had fun bubble blowing stuff in them. I will have to figure out a way to surprise them with the baskets…oops!!
I did make some yummy fudge Easter Eggs for everyone. It was a fun and relaxing day.

The medicine has done its trick and Savannah is no longer itching….whew! We have one more day to give her medicine. I am so glad she has gotten relief with the medicine!
The dr. wrote a prescription for Savannah and the triplets to be excused from swimming lessons due to the rash and the chlorine. I spoke to Jeanette, the director of swimming at the YMCA and she told me that they will give me a 2 week credit towards May swimming lessons-Yay! The girls will go back to swimming in a couple of weeks.

I organized a fun day at Oeste Park for the La Habra Moms Club to celebrate Easter for our kiddos. We all brought picnic lunches. We had an Egg hunt and I brought some goodies for all of the kids and cupcakes for everyone. The kids had a blast and also spend a lot of time on the playground.
The weather was gorgeous today and it was so much fun for all of us!!

Up until now it has been an intimidating thought to attempt the difficult task for me to get the girls ready to go to church. Morning services are just too hard to get to on a timely manner.
Our church, Morningstar Christian Chapel, which is a non denominational affiliate Calvary Christian church, offers Wednesday evening services at 7:00pm and Sunday services at 6:00pm.
Today our church offered a 6:00pm Good Friday evening service. So I got the girls ready and we all went to church tonight.
Cliff and I took the triplets to their classroom and then we took Savannah to their classroom. It was all of the girls very first time attending their classrooms at church. They were all excited. There was a fun playground, they had lots of toys, art projects and a lesson taught about Good Friday representing the day Jesus died.
Cliff and I attended the church service and the sermon ministered by Pastor Jack Abaleen was so inspiring!! I teared up and felt the Spirit the whole time we were there. The songs we sang were beautiful and I felt the love of Jesus our Lord in me and all around us. It was His amazing Grace.
We are going to try to attend church weekly now. The girls are old enough now to learn about the teachings of Jesus and Christianity. I am so excited for them!! It will also be good for Cliff and I to attend services and get involved in the ministry as well.

Today I took the girls for their follow up eye exams to see how Amanda and Miranda were progressing with their new glasses and to also get a full eye exam for Savannah, I want to get a 2nd opinion to make sure she really needs glasses.
Amanda is showing huge improvement with her glasses. Dr. Fierson is hoping that the glasses will correct Amanda’s vision and then she won’t need them anymore. I am crossing my fingers!! xxxxx
Miranda is also showing improvement but is still crossing her left eye. We will need to patch her right eye (stronger eye) 2 hours a day while she is wearing her glasses. This is to help her left eye get stronger. We are doing this to get her optical muscle to get stronger to avoid surgery at all costs. I have a feeling Miranda will be needing glasses for quite a while but the dr. is optimistic that the glasses are to correct her vision and cross eyedness too.
Dr. Fierson said Savannah’s eyesight has actually gotten better than last year. He says she doesn’t need to wear the glasses and that they are too strong for her anyway. He said most kids are farsighted and that it improves as they get older. He feels the optometrist was negligent in prescribing glasses for Savannah and that it was a way for the optometrist to make money…grrrr…that really peeved me off. All at the expense of my pocket book, my insurance company, and most importantly at the expense of my daughter’s eyesight!!
Maryssa doesn’t really need to wear her glasses so I am going to not have her wear them. So now I am down to 2 girls in glasses and 2 girls not in glasses.
We have a re-check for Miranda’s eyes next month on May 5th. Amanda needs a re-check in 3 months.

Today the triplets had their first Easter party at Preschool. I made cute butterfly snacks that were little goodie bags filled with Fruit Loops with a clothes clip in the middle to make the butterfly. I also made cute boo boo bunnies made out of white wash cloths. I boiled a dozen eggs because they were going to decorate and dye eggs today!
Mrs. Darling had made everyone the most precious Easter baskets. The kids got a glimpse of Easter bunny tracks that were on the playground! They thought that was so cool!
I went to Savannah’s class and brought all of her classroom boo boo bunnies. The kids were thrilled. I spent some time with Savannah in her classroom today and she enjoyed having me there so much. I really enjoyed myself too. I helped her decorate her Easter Bunny art project.
