I had to mail Savannah’s broken camera back to Fisher Price for a replacement and I took the triplets with me this morning. Savannah was in preschool.
The postal service staff remembered when I was pregnant with the triplets. One sweet employee, Juanita, even sent me a Congradulations card when I gave birth to the triplets.
Every time we travel I take our boxes of clothes to this post office to mail to Vermont. The guy who usually helps me with the boxes was dumbfounded and amazed when he saw the triplets. We laughed and I told him that was why I had to ship so many boxes of clothes because I have 4 girls. It was a riot!!
Anyway, the girls had a blast waitin in line and playing with postage stuff.

Savannah woke up this morning and immediately showed her sisters the hole in her mouth where her tooth had been. She then wanted to show her sisters her tooth that she pulled out last night. She came to my room to look in the special box for her tooth and it wasn’t there!!
I told her, “remember, we put the tooth box under your pillow last night”. She quickly recalled and ran to look under her pillow. She was thrilled and shocked that the Tooth Fairy had come and left her a little sachel with a tooth-shaped porcelain box. She opened it and inside was a dollar! She was so excited she couldn’t believe her eyes.
Savannah asked where her tooth was. I told her the Tooth Fairy took it to Tooth Fairy Land.

Savannah’s bottom tooth was so loose this past week that I knew at any given point it would come out. I was so scared it would come out when she was sleeping and she would choke on it.
After I put everyone to bed tonight, Savannah got out of bed and told me that her loose tooth was bleeding. I check it and the tooth was just hanging. I knew tonight was the big night for her first tooth to come out.
It was just as big of a night for her as it was for me. I remember when that little tooth first came in. What a huge milestone, my first born baby’s tooth that came in is now coming out. ((sniff, sniff)).
We got lots of pictures and I video taped Savannah pulling her own tooth out of her mouth. It was such a grown up thing for her to do all by herself. She was really amazed and wonderous.
I have been talking to her about the tooth fairy. All she could talk about after her tooth came out was that the tooth fairy would be coming tonight!! I have a special little box for her tooth and we put it under her pillow.
I am just so full of tears right now. There is no going back now….everything about my baby is no longer a baby…she is a girl now.

Savannah has 2 loose bottom teeth and one of two teeth is very loose. She can push the tooth front and back with her tongue. I imagine she will be losing the tooth any day now.
She also has a loose upper tooth but I think we have a few months yet to see that one really working its way out. I bet by the time she starts Kindergarten in the Fall she will have 2 or 3 teeth missing. Wow, that is a lot of teeth she will have missing!
Yesterday we talked about what happens to a tooth that comes out, that a new tooth will come in to take its place. She asked where did the new tooth come from.
I told her about the Tooth Fairy and she is so excited that she will have the Tooth Fairy come in the middle of the night and take her tooth from under the pillow and replace it with money. She asked where did the Tooth Fairy come from and where does she live. I told her the Tooth Fairy lives in Tooth Fairy Land and that is where she comes from. I told her the Tooth Fairy looks just like Tinder Belle.

Well the past few days have been scorchers. We broke records here. Check out how hot we were:
Sat 4/18 – 80 degrees F
Sun 4/19 – 98 degrees F
Mon 4/20 – 101 degrees F
Tues 4/22 – 92 degrees F
Today Wed 4/23 – comfortable 75 degrees with nice breeze
Thank goodness for the weather report!! On Saturday I went to Target and bought the girls a nice sized swimming pool to play in, with the anticipation for the heat wave that we endured. They girls swam in it on Monday and we had a play date yesterday and they played in the pool all day. They had a blast.
So I guess I need to start putting away the turtle necks and go through their winter clothes to see what I can put away for Maryssa and give the rest away. Time to start getting out the spring and summer clothes!! Rearranging their clothes is a lot of work!!

When I took Savannah to her 5 year physical they measured her and weighed her. She is now 39.5 pounds and she is 42 inches tall. My scale at home says 37.5-38 pounds. I am thinking the clothes she was wearing might have made her 39.5 pounds.
She now is in a Booster Car seat. We got her a cute pink Graco Turbo Booster and she says she is so comfortable in it. She has a hard time getting the seat belt around and buckled in and I have to help her with that.
She now is too tall for 4T and is now wearing 5T clothes. She is tall and thin just like her daddy. She is growing up to be such a beautiful little girl!!

I have been interviewing preschools and I have chosen a preschool that is close to our house. I met the director a couple of years ago and I really liked her. A lot of children from our La Habra Mom’s Club attend the preschool.
Today I enrolled the triplets into the preschool. I signed them up for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-12pm. I am praying that they will give me a “multiples” discount. They would begin in the Fall in September.
There was so much paperwork to fill out. It took me over 2 hours to complete.
While filling out the paperwork, I ran into a friend of mine who has twin girls and she was enrolling her twins there. She and I were both in the hospital at the same time and she gave birth to her twins the day I gave birth to the triplets. We were laughing how funny it will be for the preschool teacher to have a set of twins and a set of triplets all in the same class.
