The Jones Girls

Tonight I attended our La Habra Moms Club annual end of year banquet at El Cholo restaurant.    We played fun games and I won a gift certificate to Pink Berry!!   We had a delicious meal, I got soft grilled chicken tacos.

We presented our current president, Liz, with a nice gift thanking her for being our president this year.   She did an amazing job.   We gave her personalized engraved chopsticks. 4 bottles of wine in a basket full of flowers, and a $110 gift certificate to her favorite sushi restaurant, Higo Sushi, which is located here in La Habra.

Then Liz presented me with the prettiest flower crown and announced that I had accepted the nomination as President of the La Habra Moms Club.      I felt very proud and honored to serve as president to this wonderful club full of the most wonderful friends and sister moms.   I look forward to an amazing year as President!!

Today was the triplets preschool end of year party.  I brought cute little treat boxes filled with the what me and the girls made yesterday -cupcakes and cookie sandwich as well as a souvenir cup with a crazy straw.

I wasn’t able to go to the party because I was at Savannah’s award ceremony.  When I picked the triplets up at 12pm noon, they were so excited about their party and showed me all of the fun goodies they got.   I received huge bags of all of the crafts as well as the Father’s Day craft project that they made for Daddy.

A couple of weeks ago I received a note from the school for us to attend Savannah’s school, El Portal’s, award ceremony.

So I dropped Daddy Cliff and Savannah off at school at 8:15am (she is an early bird all week…ugh!) and then I dropped the triplets at early morning day care at 8:30am (they normally begin at 9am but they offer early morning care beforehand for $2.50 per child per half hour – very convenient – YIPEE!!)..

The award ceremony started at 8:45am.  Cliff and I settled in our seats.    They began presenting the awards.   The VIP Student of the Year award for Miss Tarbell Kindergarten class was awarded to Savannah!!     What a huge and proud moment to hear our little daughter got that award.  We tood hundreds of pictures.  She also got the CARE award too.   

I am so proud of you Savannah!!  You have done exceptionally well in Kindy and you have made us so proud of you!!   We love you!! xoxoxo
