I have Maryssa’s potty chair in the den to help her with her potty training. I noticed today that there was a poop in there. I asked Maryssa if that was her poop and she said yes. Savannah also confirmed that Maryssa had pooped on the potty chair.
I am so excited for Maryssa!! What a huge achievement for her!!

Today Cliff, me and the girls ventured to Hollywood and Griffith Park. We took off at about 10am.
We parked at Hollywood Blvd & La Brea Blvd. Get this, these rip off tour operators want to charge $39pp adults and $29pp kids 3-11. Hmmm, I smell a RIP OFF. The tour consists of taking you to walk along the stars, driving around a bit and hear about interesting facts of Hollywood history and then go on a tour to view movie stars homes. We could choose from an A/C bus, a double decker bus or a van that has an open canopy. The offered us a discount of $30pp adults and $19pp child 3-11. Triplets would be free. Adding that up, it was about $120 bucks for us!! Ummm, I don’t think so buddy, we will do our own tour.

Today I took all 4 girls shopping at Walmart. I had Amanda sitting in the seat of the basket and Maryssa was sitting inside the basket. Miranda and Savannah walked beside me while we shopped.
Savannah wanted to get in the basket with Maryssa. Miranda loved her freedom and felt like a grown up walking beside her mommy!
Then it all changed….we approached the dozen or so aquariums with many different kinds of fish. All of the girls immediately demanded to get out of the basket. I let them all out and they glued their faces to the glass aquariums. They were mesmerized by the swaying of the swimming fish. They all agreed that their favorite fish were the algae eaters…they loved their whiskers and said they looked like cats that were fish!! So cute!!
Then I let them all hold hands and we shopped through the store. It was their first time not sitting in the basket and walking with me while I shopped. I was so proud of them.
They explored each isle and picked up a product, studied it and then they put it back on the shelf mindfully after my request to do so. They really were good little shoppers.
Once we were in line at the check out that was when things got a little crazy. You know how the stores put all of the candy and toys by the check out stand – they know parents will buy the stuff to keep their kids quiet and from going ballistic in the store . Well, I was firm and polite all at the same time when I told the girls that they couldn’t have any candy, gum or toys. They did really give a big fuss at all about it. Whew!!
I can only imagine what shopping is going to be like when they are teenagers…

A couple of days ago we had a real fiasco here. All of the girls were playing int he backyard. Then I saw only 3 girls in the backyard. Amanda was missing. So I start going through the house looking for her.
Savannah runs in the house and screams for me that Amanda had locked herself in our master bathroom!! So I run and open the door. When I opened the door Amanda screams. She slipped on the floor and split her bottom lip open.
The floor was COVERED with slipper, oily, messy goop!! I saw next to her on the floor was my empty bottle of expensive hair potion called BioSilk. This stuff is more expensive per ounce than gasoline for your car!! I quickly had to put that thought in the back of my mind and calm down Amanda.
Once I got her lip stabilized, I talked to her about how dangerous it was to get into things without asking me first. She was more upset than me, the poor little sweetie.
My floor is slippery every time we walk on it. I have no idea how to fix it. I think I will try Dawn detergent. They say it cuts the grease out. Maybe it will cut my hair potion out!!
